Most people seem to think when you are getting your carpets cleaned, that you should recieve every service possible to get your carpets as clean as possible. SORRY, this is not the case. When scheduling a carpet cleaning appointment you will speak with a customer service representative. This person will give you an “estimate” based on the information they recieve from you (customer). They will ask such things as if your carpets are oftenly cleaned or if there is a specific reason for cleaning them at this time, such as did you have a spill, or your dog tracked in dirt, or maybe urinated on the carpet. Your carpets can be cleaned for certain reasons and certain reason need certain solutions to correct that particular problem. If your carpets havent been cleaned in over a year it has had time to collect a significant amount of dirt in them. If your dog har urinated in the carpets, there are certain chemicals it needs to be treated with to totally correct the problem. Such things as these cost an additional charge because it is more time on the technicians part to mix and apply these chemicals and also because these also come at a cost to the company. Take into consideration that not everything can be included and done at no cost.

When moving into a newer or different home it might be time to do a heavy cleaning of the carpets. Preivious pets in the home are a concern because of the hair left behind and possible damage to the carpets due to urine and other bodily substances. Expect The Unexpected
Last Thursday I had a tile cleaning job in Utah county. prepared for the usual and loaded up on basic tile cleaning necessities. get out to the job site and inspected the tile to find unexpected build up on the tile. generally tile cleaning is a straight forward procedure, apply chemical, scrub grout lines, rinse and extract. Well this need much more than that. I rescheduled for the following day to come back and acid wash along with a buffer with a scrub brush. All said and done the results where great. So expect the unexpected
Move The Furniture Or Not?
When it comes to carpet cleaning we find that most people will move the little stuff out of the rooms to be cleaned but will leave some of the big furniture in place. If spills and traffic doesn’t make it under the couch that has stayed put for 5 years then it may not need to be moved at every cleaning unless you plan to change their locations. Vacuuming should be done under them every 6 months or so to cut down on dust build up but professional carpet cleaning may not be necessary under them every time. As professional carpet cleaners we can and do move furniture for you but we don’t want to be responsible for breaking or damaging anything. So we will have some limits on what we are can move for you. All TVs Computers, and most electronic equipment we choose not to move for you due to liability. However most couches and chairs we are happy to assist in. We do prefer having help and the customers supervising us as we move most things.

Grout line magic
