Recently one of loyal “regular Mr. ChemDry” clients called and stated that her puppy had chewed through an ink pen. And in doing so, tracked the carpet up in several other areas. I make it a point to inform ALL of my customers that if an accident happens in between our regular visits with them, that they not resort to using over-the-counter products because they are mass produced just for the quick sell. They don’t care if it works or not, you bought it! This client decided to use Resolve because she saw how good it worked “on TV”. Well if she would have used the ChemDry Professional Strength Spot Remover that I left her for FREE during the last visit, she probably would have still panicked, but then I would have reminded her that she did the right thing. So instead of our Spot Remover taking out the residual effects of the ink, the Resolve actually set in some of the ink at the point of contact with the carpet. So with rinsing, ink removal and extraction, I was able to get all of the ink out but a very faint area where she used the Resolve. So please, when your ChemDry technician leaves a product behind, chances are he has instructed you on how, when , and where to use it so as to not make our next visit with you a costly one. There is more than 30 years experience backing our technicians’ recommendations.

One of the most asked questions I get asked when I clean carpets for people is “When can I put the stuff back?”. What they are asking is usually “when can I expect the carpets to be dry?” The answer is “well that depends on what you do”. The air flow through the house and the temperature make all of the difference. Having the room temperature around 70 and having a couple of ceiling fans on will sometimes cut the dry time in half. However making the house colder and turning off the air circulation can more than double the dry time. A while back I had a customre who had us clean for them in a new home they were about to move into. It was cold outside, we cleaned in the evening and as soon as we were done they shut up the house turned the heater down to 40. They were very surprised the next day when they came over in the morning and the carpets were still slightly damp. As soon as they turned the heat up the carpets dried quick but they were concerned. In the summer months I have seen carpet dry in as quick as 45 minutes when there is adequate airflow and warmer temperatures.

Presprays work in addition to our basis clean. Basic clean is a water soluable cleaning. When prespray is added it either does one of two things, it increases the ph level of the cleaning process or adds solvents to become water and oil soluable or both. in my experience with cleaning ive noticed that polyester carpets take well to high ph presprays like thrasher where nylon carpets work well with solvents and ph cleaners like clean dry and traffic lane.

Every area rug requires special care to maximize the life and durability of the piece. When purchasing an area rug, be sure to note the fiber types and origins of the rug. This information may be helpful as your Chem-Dry technician offers a specialized cleaning plan to ensure longevity.

Avoid spills on your area rug. If a spill happens, quickly remove as much of the spot as possible using a dry white towel or wet suction extractor. Depending on the type of carpet fibers, hot water may damage your rug (consult with a Chem-Dry specialist on how to best handle your specific rug).

Protect your area rug with Chem-Dry PowerGuard, Repel or Wool Protectant. Each formula is designed to match the needs of your carpet fibers to help minimize stains and make cleaning up spills easier.

Avoid leaving an area rug in direct or partial sunlight as fading may occur and have your area rugs cleaned routinely.

Why Should I Clean & Protect My Leather? Oils & Grease – Body oils from both humans and animals attachRead the Rest...

Why Should I Clean & Protect My Leather?

Oils & Grease – Body oils from both humans and animals attach and hold on to leather. Body oils are easily transferred to the head cushions and armrests of the furniture and can cause serious damage to the protective finishes found on leather.

Atmospheric Soils – Consider the dust that builds up on a coffee table or desk over a week’s time. This same dust is being deposited on your leather. Additionally, consider the airborne cooking oils and atmospheric pollution that are present, to some degree, in every home. These elements can wear down leather over time.

Common Soils – These soils include dirt tracked in from outside along with sand and fibers from plants, brought into the home by people and pets.

Dyes and Inks – The inks from newspapers and dyes from denim can transfer onto leather in a process called dye transfer. Additionally, the risk of ink from a leaky pen or the aspiring toddler who loves to draw should not be forgotten.

How Often Should I Clean My Leather?

A regular cleaning schedule includes professional cleaning two times a year. Between professional cleanings, you can maintain the health and beauty of your leather furniture by cleaning with Chem-Dry Soft Cleaner and rejuvenating the protection with Chem-Dry Protection Cream. Both products are found in the Chem-Dry Home Leather Care Kit.

Chem Dry is a different cleaning process in many ways. All Chem Dry products are made directly for Chem dry and are ONLY available for Chem Dry. Many other cleaning companies have “consumer” products.. Which basically means you as the customer can go to your local cleaning supplier and pick up these “professional” products.. Chem Dry uses 60% LESS water/solution than any other companies, therefore leaving your carpets drier and in turn healthier! Chem Dry’s Power-head method is state of the art technology being used yo get your carpets the cleanest they can possibly be! I would Personally put Chem Dry’s method up against any other method(s) out there head to head! Chem Dry vs the Others…Is Like Ferrari vs Toyota

People ofter ask if we clean area rugs, the answer is of course we do. But what they might not know is that Mr. Chem Dry carpet cleaning Utah offers a couple of different options to give you the best results. We can actually pick up your area rugs and bring them back to our shop and give them a bath..lol…But for real, we have a deep submersion clean that cleans deep down into the fibers of the area rug, which gives better results than just regular carpet cleaning Utah. We also offer a Dusting step method, which we put the area rug on a rack and use a machine (rug badger) that agitates all of the dry soils out of the rug. You will be absolutely amazed at the results that this offers. We can do them separately if you opt to or both of them for the max results. So give it a try, your area rug will love you for it!

As a Mr. Chem Dry customer service representative, there is one question that I am always asked when talking with people on the phone. The question is, “What makes a Chem Dry process different”?…The answer is, There is so many things that makes us different. We clean with all the advantages of hot water extraction and with so much more. We use a fifth of the water other companies use. We do not use soaps or detergents that can leave residues on your carpet that attract dirt stains. We apply the cleaning solution of carbinated mineral water to loosen the dirt and debris from the fibers of the carpet bringing them to the surface. Since we are cleaning and extracting at the same time with less water, the carpets will dry within hours instead of days. That is a HUGE benefit. We offer 100% satisfaction guaranteed on our carpet cleaning Utah. We have certified technicians that are trained in the Chem dry carpet cleaning Utah process to take care of all your carpet cleaning needs. We specialize in stain removal inculding red dye stains. If we cant get them out, no one can! We can also take care of your upholstery cleaning needs. We use the same process with a fifth less water letting them dry within 2-3 hours. We also specialize in pet urine removal. A process we call P.U.R.T. ( pet urine removal treatment). So give us a call and schedule your appointment, we’re sure you will notice and love the DIFFRENCE.

This one is to let everyone know what a great Utah carpet cleaning crew we have here at Mr. ChemDry! Our office staff is dedicated to doing what is necessary to keep the technicians working every day and making sure that they are happy with the work that they get. Of course the technicians are always happy when there is a full days work, but even during slow periods they help out in other areas such as: assisting with water damage cleanups, flood restorations, shop work, and even making sure their trucks are ready for the next days work. We like to cross train our technicians here at Mr. ChemDry, Utah Air Duct Cleaning for example. If the Utah carpet cleaning lines are slow we will send a technician with our Utah air duct cleaning crew for the day. So as you can see, we are a team here and if everyone keeps learning new things and working together, everyone is happy. Not only employees, but our customers benefit mostly from our good attitudes when we step into their house as a representative of Mr. ChemDry, Utah carpet cleaning!

I am very proud of the people I work with and I know from recent experience that I couldn’t work with a better bunch of Technicians. Thanks!
