Tile and carpet cleaning

The other day I did a combination carpet and tile cleaning for a customer in Murray Utah. the customer was so happy that we were able to take care of all of her flooring in her main floor. She had a white tile with a light colored grout. The grout over the last five years turned from a light tan to a black color in her high traffic areas. The carpet from her garage to her kitchen was dingy as well. I was able to take the equipment with me to do both of these floorings in one appointment. It did take a little longer than a regular appointment because the set up time for tile is a bit longer then for carpet but it worked out great in the end. Because of the fast drying times and fans put on the carpet the carpet was dry around the same time I was finishing the tile cleaning. In just two hours she had a brand new looking living room and kitchen.

What don’t we clean?

Utah carpet cleaning & pet urine removal treatment

General Utah carpet cleaning will not remove urine from the carpet and carpet padding. There is alot of over the counter products that may or may not fix the problem. If the damage is extensive then those products definently will not solve it. PURT ( Pet urine removal treatment) is different in that its is applied in gallon quaunites to insure the damaged pad is treated and instead of covering up the smell is actually oxidizes the urine to elminate the smell from the source.

Utah Carpet Cleaning Recommendations

Recommended Utah carpet cleaning intervals will vary from house to house. The general rule of thumb is every six month. But if its a house where its just two elderly couples living, they may be able to push it to every year or longer. If its a house with multiple kids and/or pets then it may need to be done sooner. Just because they look clean doesn’t always mean they are.

Doing carpet cleaning for a number of years I’ve seen some disgusting things. Some things are almost unbelievable. So far I have only been to one house that I refused to clean Utah carpets. Thats right, i Refused! This house made me literally sick to be in. There was dog crap and cat crap and pee every where! This house should of been condemned. The sad part was that the homeowner was oblivious to the filth they were living in. The carpets were BLACK.. Not because they were supposed to be that color but because of the dirt and grease and oils.. Sometimes its okay to consider your own safety and health before a “dollar” and replace the carpet.

Chemdry’s Famous Spot Removers

I was visiting my best friend’s in-laws place in El Paso Texas recently and of course the subject came up that they had some spots on the carpet in a high traffic area. I didn’t have my van there with my equipment to do the whole area but I asked about what spot removers they had. They had used Chem Dry many times in the past and luckily they had one of our older cans still half full. I shook up the can and sprayed a little on the carpet and dabbed it up and then scrubbed lightly for a few seconds. The spot was gone and they were really happy. The benefits to using a Chem Dry spot remover is that the chemical makeup of our product is not filled with detergents or chemicals that need to be rinsed out of the carpet. The residues that are left behind after using the competitor’s spot removers are very high. Especially if it is a surfactant (soap) residue then the spot may disappear but then the residue will attract dirt back to that spot quickly and you will be then complaining the spot came back. Chem Drys New Encapsulation System For Utah Carpet Cleaning

I am excited to talk about Chem Drys’ new Encapsulation system for commercial Utah carpet cleaning. This I think is the best system yet, for care and maintenance of commercial carpet. Its just a matter of applying the Encapsulating Cleaner which emulsifies and suspends common soils to the carpet fibers and provides an additional soil repelling barrier. It is agitated with a soft carpet brush that also grooms as it cleans. As it dries, the polymer crystallizes and flakes off with vacuuming. Used in conjunction with ChemDrys Hot Carbonating Extraction, it is one of the best cleanings you will have ever seen. And the results are Fantastic! I have been cleaning commercial carpets for about 7 years now, using bonnet method, truck mounted extraction, portable extraction, etc. We have begun to use Encapsulation on all but those very greasy or impacted soils.
