Vacuuming:

We recommend vacuuming your carpeting frequently (once a day if possible). Vacuuming removes loose soil before it becomes embedded in the carpet fiber. Frequent vacuuming does not wear out your utah carpets.

Shoes:

Many of our customers with fine homes and expensive carpeting have shoes removed at the door. You may elect to have family members follow this policy and exempt your guests. Removing shoes at the door will add months to the new, clean look of your utah carpets.

Carpet Care Products:

Check with your Chem-Dry professional before using “off the shelf” carpet deodorizers and spotters. Many of these products leave dirt attracting residues that will cause rapid re-soiling of the carpet. Chem-Dry Spot Remover is an effective all purpose cleaning and spot removing product, safe to use on any carpet or fabric you can use water on.

Area Rugs:

Inexpensive area rugs are great for heavy traffic areas like the transition between the kitchen and dining room. These rugs can be quickly removed when you are expecting guests. It is recommended that area rugs with a latex or soft backing be used. Rugs with a jute or coarse backing should have a pad under them.

More expensive woven rugs are our specialty.  We can clean your rugs on-site or clean them in our in house rug cleaning plant.  When cleaned in our rug cleaning plant rugs receive detailed attention as they are inspected, dusted, vacuumed, shampooed, bathed, extracted, groomed and finished.  For the very finest in pampering send your rugs to our saloon for rugs.
