As I mentioned in my last posting, I am a 22 year veteran of the United States Army. Ten of which was Army National Guard. I have never been more proud being able to serve my country, let alone for 22 years. It really went by fast. Having retired 3 months after 9/11, I kind of felt like I was running away from the situation that was at hand. I served in Desert Storm and there was plenty to deal with then. Its hard to say if I would have survived another tour in Iraq or Afghanistan. Having prayed a lot in those 22 years, I finally got an answer that it was time to stay home and take care of my family full time. And I’ve never been more proud of anything in the world than I am of my family and their accomplishments. My accomplishment is that I am sticking to my goal of managing a business and I am very proud of what I have done with it thus far. I hope this doesn’t seem too Corny, but again I am very, very proud of all the men and women of the Armed Forces and all that they do for us. God Bless you all! And thanks for your wonderful service.
